I was waiting on getting one of these and finally went for it for graduation party. I tested it out and it seemed to reduce the temperature pretty good. During the party it was blazing hot but the area it was cooling did a phenomenal job. It cooled about 30 degree drop in temperature and everyone was enjoying the party. Some of us were in formal wear and had jackets on but it was still comfortable.
I put this cooler on our screen porch, so we can enjoy it on hot summer evenings. It doesn't spray water, so we don't have to worry much about where it sits. It's quiet enough to talk over, and on more than one evening we've been cool enough to sit there talking well after sundown.
Got one for a family gathering and placed it by the patio dining table. Worked great, and now we can eat outside year round. My kids love it, and the energy bill didn’t spike.
I purchased this for my patio. I couldn’t be more happy with the functionality and ease of use.
